How We Work · Duluth and the Northland

Four steps, and something running inside the first month.

Almost everything we do follows the same four steps. We look at how your work actually happens, we put the scope in writing, we ship the first working piece inside the first month, and then we keep it running. You know what is being built and what it costs before anyone writes a line of code.

We are in Duluth. If you are close, we will come to you.

The four steps

Discover, design, build, maintain.

What lands at each step

What you actually walk away with.

Step by step

  • 01 Discover: a plain-language write-up of how work moves through your business today, and the two or three places worth automating first.
  • 02 Design: a scope document that names every deliverable and what it costs, agreed before any code exists.
  • 03 Build: the first working system in your hands inside the first month. Not a demo, not a pilot environment. The real thing, doing real work.
  • 04 Maintain: a system that stays healthy, fixes when something breaks, updates when the tools underneath it change, and the next build ready when you want it.

What we need from you

  • An hour or two with the person who actually does the work, not only the person who describes it
  • Access to the tools the work already lives in: the scheduler, the inbox, the spreadsheets, the job files
  • One person on your side who can approve the scope and mean it

What this is not

The parts we skip.

  • This is not a six-month transformation program, and we would not know how to sell you one.
  • Discovery does not run for months while you pay for meetings. It takes days, and its only job is to decide what gets built.
  • What you get at the end is not a strategy deck. It is a system running on a real machine that your team uses on a Tuesday morning.

We would rather tell you the edge of the work up front than discover it together halfway through.

Next step

Start with a conversation, not a contract.

Most owners call us with one job that keeps slipping. That is a fine place to start.
